Anyone know which manufacturer makes the largest sizes of cycling helmet? I have a big head (not through pride in achievements but some genetic reason) and always have difficulty finding the right size. My size is 7 3/8 to 7 1/2 in UK terms but this is probably different in the US.

I travel to the States a lot so purchase in either country is possible.

TIA

I think the Giro Atmos comes up pretty large. I've had trouble getting a good fit but theirs is big enough-not just getting the circumference right but also the depth so it does not feel like it is sat 'on top of' your head. Never got on with Metz designs due to that.

I have a giant freak head --- bigger than 7 3/8 -- and the large Specialized S Works helmet fits great. It also has the best air flow of any helmet I've used. But not cheap!

I think Limar has larger sizes. And for some reason I was thinking Rudy Projects which last I check had a 50% closeout.

Ditto.

I have a large melon and the Atmos works well for me.

Try the Bell Metro ...

I am not sure they are still being manufactured ....
Do a Google ...

I wear a 7 1/2 to 7 3/4 hat. Giro Pnuemo always pushed on my forehead. Tried a Bell Sweep R, fits like a dream, with a little room to spare.

7 5/8" hat size

Used a Specialized M1 until I smashed it in an accident last summer now I use a Bell Sweep XC. Both fit me just fine.

Ditto on the Bell. I thought I had some kind of freak head until I tried on the bell. My wife and daughter were even laughing at me when she saw the look on my face trying on all the helmets that wouldn't fit.

Both Atmos and Ionos large work well for me

I had good luck with the Bell Slant and I have a rather large noggin myself. It sounds like Giro and Bell would work, actually I think they are owned by the same people so that would make sense.

I have a large head with not much inside. Atmos works for me as well.

ATMOS works for me and here in the States Specialize even has one bigger than that. (go to their site to see)

Huge noggin... although, sad to say, not much of anything useful inside.

Have both a Bell Ghisallo and a Giro Pneumo... the Bell is a better, more comfortable fit.
