Putting a 50/34 front CT on a new dirt road bike. Using a 12/25 cassette. Which size derailleur is best suited to this combo? Oh I'll be running camapg centaur stuff. It seems to be a grey spot. Thanks Guys

It all depends on your age and shape.
If you're planning on getting in much better shape go with the short cage, it will work fine.
If you're planning on getting older, go with the long or mid cage so that you can eventually fit the 13-29t on there.

Campagnolo states that with their compact crankset you may use the short cage rear in all applications except with the 13-29 where a medium cage is required. Actually, a short cage will shift just fine with the 13-29, you just have to stay away from the 50/29 combination, (which you shouldn't use anyway). Short answer: short cage.
