Remember SoCalSteve's damaged Time frame? I'm the guy willing to risk a few teeth on it and I think it is now ready to build up. BTW, Steve was 100% honest and forthcoming about the condition of the frame so there were no surprises when it arrived.
Anyway, I need a group for the next step in this crazy project. Anyone have a used but good condition DA 7800 or SRAM Red/Force group that they are willing to part with? I would prefer 172.5, it takes a braze-on FD, and I don't need a cassette.
Also needed:
- 27.2 post, no setback. A black Thomson would do nicely.
- Ergo bend handlebars with relatively short drop -- alu preferred.
- Selle SMP Stratos saddle
Thanks!

I'm parting it out off of the Coer d'Acier I have on Ebay. It's the blue one with Reynolds wheels. Let me know if you are interested or would like to make an offer. The wheels are already gone.
Thanks.
If you are interested, I have a DA 7800 group to sell. New never ridden parts. Cranks are 175 but I do have a new set of Ultegra cranks in 172.5 that I could include. Front derailleur is a braze-on. $1100 shipped (Texas right?)
Let me know what you think.

I think I have what I need, although I wouldn't mind a Thomson no setback 27.2 in black. Thanks!
I have the post if interested.
