I'm leaving for Italy on Saturday for 2 plus weeks and I was wondering if any bike shops stock Dario's frames. If anyone has any info I'd be grateful.

PS I love my new Love#3 and I'm lusting after a new steel Peg.

Why not email him and see if he's up for a visit? If your buying a steel frame nothing like being measured by the man himself!

I just don't know where he is compared to where were going to be.

No big deal. I'll look around while I'm there.

He's back at work. I just spoke with him the other night, about music mostly this time. He's a truly great guy.
Doing really well on the leukemia recovery, by the way; done with the chemo. He's a strong guy, with a huge heart.

I don't of any shops that carry Pegos in Italy, but meeting the man would be worth the trip no matter what: besides him being so humane, funny and kind, Levico/Caldonazzo is a beautiful area.

PS: check your PMs.

Jack..I don't know if Competitive Cyclist stocks them or not, but they carry them on their site. www.competitvecyclist.com

Don't know about shops in Italy but BiKyle in Philly advertises that they have some in stock (forget your size but may be worth a peek).

My understanding of the OP was that he was looking for shops that stock Pegos in Italy.

Now, unless Italy has become "sort of like" Alaska, afaik Little Rock, Philly, Boston, or (gawd forbid) Burbank, have not become Italy's "neighbors".... ;) :)

Jack, if you are still looking for a shop in Italy, esp. if you won't be anywhere near Caldonazzo (north of Verona, adjacent to Trento/Levico), I think the 2 best options are:

call or email Dario directly
call or email Gitabike: T: (800) 729-4482....E: info@gitabike.com

PS: I'm no fan of Burbank, but Bicycle John's is a pretty good shop.
