Hey there!

Does anyone know if Colnago's Extreme Power frameset in "PR00" is the same as a forum member's Extreme C in "PR00".

The reason I ask is because I love the weave as show here:

Competitive Cyclist has a deal on a Colnago Extreme Power frameset in PR00 and in my size!

If anyone knows please let me know...thanks!!!

My understanding is that the Extreme C is lighter and not quite as stiff as the Extreme Power. The former is a"climber's bike" and the latter a "sprinter's bike." For a nonprofessional, I would dare say the differences would be nearly imperceptible.

Both would appear to be wonderful framesets. Good luck with your choice.

So, if I purchase DBRK's "Extreme Power" Colnago will I too have EXTREME POWER, or will I just look like a poser on a bike with a silly name?

Ray, if you like the bike just ignore me :p

PR00 refers to the frame's paint scheme, or in the case of PR00, it's lack of paint. the 00 is a clearcoat, sans paint. different frames, same finish.

i haven't ridden an EP, but i have owned an extreme C and now own a c50. they ride very differently, so an EP and extreme C may ride quite differently. folks i've talked to love their EPs.

Thanks so much!

I love the clear coat.

Now I have to decide to either pony up or keep my savings for a rainy day...

All the best!!
