Just made the plunge for a Dinotte headlight/taillight combo. I've never had Li-Ion batteries before and have a charging question. Can I leave a battery on the charger (as I did with my old Nightrider) or should I remove the battery as soon as it's fully charged? Thanks

Jim

My understanding is that lithium-ion batteries (now standard in cell phones) do not have a memory like the older nickel-cadmium ones did, so you should be able to let it charge as long as you like. There are some serious science geeks on the forum who may contradict me, and if so, I would defer to them.

If you are not aware of it, this website is extemely educational.

What do the instructions say? Have you asked Dinotte? They are constantly complimented for their customer service so you would probably get a prompt, accurate reply if you asked them.

If your charger is also from DiNotte, then it is a "smart charger". No worries.

I have a Dinotte and never remember to unplug it. No worries thus far...
