Hi all, Given Away!!!
I will give you my damaged Time VX Special Pro in size XXL if you buy the Time fork, Campy integrated headset and Time 130mm MonoLink stem.

The frame's head tube can be fixed. There are 2 places I contacted and sent off the pictures to and both said it was fixable. Calfee and Richard Goldie Cycles (Calfee and RG cycles both quoted between $300.00 to 500.00 without seeing the actual frame). As for the scratches in the top tube, I am sure they can be fixed as well, if that matters to you.

I recieved the insurance money back from Fed Ex, they did not want the frame back. I do not feel comfortable selling the frame as I have already been made whole for it. But, I do have the fork, headset and stem that I do feel comfortable selling.

The fork, headset and stem are in MINT condition. $300.00 + actual shipping cost to wherever you are (anywhere from $25.00 to $35.00).

I assume absolutley NO responsibility or liability for this frameset. I have been told that once the frame's headtube has been fixed, it will be as good as new.

Feel free to ask any and all questions that you may have.

Thanks for reading,

Steve

I am very interested. PM sent. Scratch that -- I jumped the gun -- the older XXL appears larger than the new one in compact geo and I think it's too big for me. Good luck.

Same size, same geometry numbers, sans the sloping top tube...

dangit man! that is a darn good deal for a bit of leg work. Any estimates on the turn around time for the repairs?

Wish my cash flow was in better shape but until I move the De Rosa I'm tapped out.

Good on 'ya for being straight up and giving somebody a chance to turn this bike back into a rider. Other folks would've sold it on ebay and only mentioned "a small manufacturing defect in the heat tube" ;)

Thanks for the props!

I have always tried to be fair with everyone on this Forum as I have always been treated that way. Good Karma and all...
