I'm dying to see what these look like mounted on someone's bike. I've seen plenty of the new carbon levers, but have my fingers crossed that the alloys look better...

Anyone have a pic? Please?

I should have mine installed in about a week.

I got the alloy Centaur shifters (full alloy group) in the mail today, but they will not been on the bike until Monday. Upgrading my 1995 Colnago so I can ride it for a little while as my Nove is heading to NY for a repaint due to a shipping issue.

Here you go.

I've ridden them through a century and double century. Shifted perfectly and were plenty comfortable.

What handlebar are you using there?

Bars are the Nitto M196-STI. They're kind of like the old 3TTT Morphe with their sweepback.

Where's the brown Arione? If you say you got rid of it I'll have to walk across the bridge and sit on you until you see the error of your ways... :)

10 speed right? Can you use the old centaur derailleurs and chain?

While they may be more comfortable I think the older syle is better looking, much less bulbous.

Any 2001 or newer Campy 10 speed drivetrain components can be used. The instructions claim the new levers are not compatible with QS front derailleurs, but I have been using a 2008 QS FD for several weeks now. Works fine. They also have enough cable pull to operate a triple FD.

Ah yes. The Brown Arione. I threw it out ;)

No, it's on my fixed gear now. I'm riding the Kirk primarily on longer rides and the Brooks Pro is the only saddle I can take up to 200 miles and feel little to no discomfort afterwards. The Arione is great for me up to 120 miles though.

I'll post some pix of the revised fixie when I can.

Our shop bought it through Wholesale distributor Merry Sales. As with most of Nitto's STI series bars, they only come in 38, 40 and 42 cm flavors. Retail on this bar is close to $125 though. Yikes!

If that's too steep for you, I've got a silver 42cm 3TTT Morphe that used to be on my Kirk that I'd be willing to sell.
