There's the classic green Brooks

Available in the Swift, Swallow and Team Pro in that classic green.

All saddles are green, since if you're sitting on one, you're not emitting greenhouse gasses (unless you have one of those farting holes in it). :p

Fizik Custom saddles can be made in a very bright green.

A Brooks ( like most saddles ) will tell you if it works or not
almost immediately.

A B17 does not take that long to break in. Plaster it with Profhide and
go ride.

Soon as I sat on the B17 ti, in spite of all the discomfort, I could see the
possibilities. I knew within 2 seconds it would work.

One must micro adjust the saddle angle for true comfort.
This takes some work.

wallbike has a 6 month return policy ... can't go wrong there !

Just so you know, after some conditioning and wear, the brooks green saddles get pretty dark. (I guess so do the brown ones) My B-17 Racing Green model looks almost black now... Just thought I'd give a heads up.

Brooks baby...

can't go wrong with a Brooks - give it ~100 miles and you will know if it is for you.

Like mentioned above, Wallingford has a 6 month return policy - can't be beat!

Celeste green saddles are available. Yellow Jersey carries a few, check out the first two photos here:

http://www.yellowjersey.org/selle.html

Also, since celeste green is a Bianchi color, check out your local dealer and see if he can order one of these:

Good Luck!

thanks for all info and suggestions!

I think im gonna walk the uncertain path and dye a selle italia slr with green leather dye. Hopefully some of the lettering will survive.

Probably better to dye a white->green than black->green if u want a bright colour.

Ill post a pic when im done, will most likely look like alligator scales :)

Fizik does special order colors I think - at least that is what they told me at Signature Cycles.

Yer butt ain't too picky if you're not on full-leather.

After a few years of Brooks on everything, i picked up a used-built bike this year. Had a real snazzy name-brand plasti-saddle mounted. So I rode it.

ONCE. :crap: geez what was I thinking?

Good luck coordinating.

Fizik will definitely make custom-order saddles for some of their models. I know somebody who ordered an orange-and-blue one to match his frame. I think you have to order them through the Fizik website in Italy.
