Mmmm... my favorite is pistachio.
I dig the sour cherry....tastes like pie....I guess that's why they call it "Cherry Pie"
Funny, I was just finishig one as I read this.

Have you read what is in them? Why not just eat an extra large cheese cake slice. The fat content is crazy high for sports bar.

Depends on which ones. They have max 220 calories -- that's not a slice of cheesecake last time I checked.

Haven't seen them in the marketplace.
Are they typically at bike shops or at places like GNC?

You should have asked for one. We were handing them out like -- well -- Lara bars

I get them at Trader Joe's.
Whole Foods carries them as well as my local grocery store (QFC / Krogers).

Do they have grooves for cable routing? How wide are they? What's the clamp diameter? Do you you think these would be a good choice for Campy levers?

Cherry is great. Ginger is not bad. They are not for chicks (that's Luna). There's good fat and bad fat; the ingredients in my Lara bar are dates, almonds, cherries. Um, what's wrong with that?

Watch it.. I have "Mary" bars on my single speed. They do look a little girlie, tho.

A vote for apple pie. Every once in a while I do get a nut shell. I guess it's comforting to know that they are real nuts.
Ever since Best in Show, I can't refer to nuts without thinking about Harlan Pepper -- "stop naming nuts!"

are these "energy bars"? i had one yesterday and it was fantastic. dates and nuts- 2 of my favorite things.
seems like a good thing to eat at 5am when you're not really hungry, but have to eat something before a race- and also something good to have in your pocket on those 75 mile rides.

+1
They work for me too ....
are these "energy bars"? ...
sure...some sugar, protein and a bit of fat...not a "powerbar" type energy bar, but they taste good and are easy to chew.
