Edge wheels= 5 yr old Lew tech???

So I was looking into carbon aero (tubular) options since my v39 cracked and was told that edge is using 5-6 yr old lew technology for their rims? anyone heard that or know why that is bad? The source may be biased as he is hoping i might buy new 2008 zipp 404--hopefully a more robust wheel for me as they are 28/28 with CX-ray spokes (radial and 2x). he had good things to say about reynolds though

No. No one else is using molded spoke holes. The rest of their process is as up to date as any. Lew started a lawsuit against them, but that is going nowhere.

Even if it's true, I don't know how that could be considered bad since the reynolds wheels that he apparently was praising are, as far as I know, also based on old Lew tech. And anyway, Edge rims kick tail regardless of what tech they are based on.

Makes me excited to get the Edge wheels I just picked up off Ergott! I think they will look sharp on the HSG!
