All hail Contador. Winning all 3 Grand Tours is impressive. Ditto for Levi. He's had a great year.

"...Contador joined Belgian Eddy Merckx, Italian Felice Gimondi and Frenchmen Bernard Hinault and Jacques Anquetil as the only riders to ever win all three Grand Tours..."

No kidding. He just joined some VERY impressive company.
I really respect riders that compete in all 3 GTs. Some guys just never do.... ;)
His career palmares is going to be pretty impressive, it looks like.

Gimondi is my absolute favorite rider of all time.

Road Worlds = !!! ITALIA !!!

I guess he has the TdF to thank...if not for the slight (why was that again? :D ), AC would not have gone for the Giro and Vuelta and his chance at joining the likes of Eddy Merckx, Felice Gimondi, Bernard Hinault and Jacques Anquetil would not have materialized.

Yeah, but the Italians have a good team too (although they should have put DiLuca on it), home field, Bettini is in form, and Ballerini is a very good coach.
