The serial numbers can be found in both places sometimes, but always on the bottom bracket. Perhaps it's there under a repaint. Other possibilities are more scary.

"0440" is just a sequential number.

## 440 might be pre computer records...If so, I probably have a catalog at home that has the specs for that era.

Thanks, Dave. I'll get in touch with Serotta tomorrow regarding full specs...

Pete - Anything you can find for that model/year will help. Serotta records go back to the '92 catalog according to the person I spoke to this morning...

That would be pre-computer. There was and may still be a book we called the "bible" that had all the bikes in it. It was all handwritten and just had basic notes listing build date and customer as I recall.

What specific info are you looking for?

Dave - I'm looking for all of the specifications I can get regarding ht/st angles, top tube length, fork rake, bb drop, chainstay length, and trail. I just want them for my own records.

I seriously doubt they will have them for a specific bike.

Do you have the bike to measure? It's not that hard to measure them with a few easy tricks using rulers and string.

Per the Bible, the frame was built May 17th, 1990. It was sold to the dealer, Frank's Spoke N Wheel, a 59cm Colorado II, painted red/yellow fade.

Russ - Thanks very much. How are the Colorado and Colorado II differentiated? This Colorado does not have a "II" next to the name on the top tube. It is 1/2 lugged and 1/2 fillet. What are the specs for a stock Colorado/Colorado II?
