Or lack thereof...
I have a fairly old yakima rack and steelhead that sat unused for several years, and I recently reinstalled it with the locking cores.
First time I went to lock it, it didn't lock. Key spun just like it should, but it just didn't lock.
I didn't worry too much about it, because the skewer still worked. Then a few days later I found a small little round metal thing that I thought odd looking. Then it occurred to me that it looked like a perfect mate to the end of one of the yakima locking cores. I'm thinking that is some piece essential to make it lock.
I'm in a position where I now need it to lock, but I can't figure it out.
I've played around with it to the point of pulling my hair out, and I can't make it work. The yakima pdfs are no help either.
Does anyone have an idea of how to reinstall these things?
