OT: my friend's new "Green" building

Here are some photos of my friend's new LEED certified building in Westlake (Seattle). All passive cooling with a lot of natural light, open space and an atrium/courtyard. Check out the door handle wrap.

Great building.

I'm gonna build a cob home. passive solar, local clay and sand and on site rock and timber. recycled or hand made doors and windows. roof will collect rainwater for use.

That's a great looking building. You know it's design probably makes your time spent there that much more enjoyable. It reminds me very much of a building I saw on the Carnegie Mellon University campus. I wonder if it's the same architect.

The bar tape is a nice touch. :p
