So I am buff again....you'll hafta take my word for it....but the loss came from a very unlikely source. Skateboarding.

Now for phase II. As work starts soon. I will commute via bike -- a newly fitted with semi-slicks Fisher Sugar that is surprisingly fast, plus I fit the Legend Ti with 80's open style toe clips ... don't laff. It is amazing to wear soccer shoes or even keens and ride that pup.

Goal: Need to work down the junk food intake...and up the sweating out take, to maintain and continue good body trend into the fall/winter. Do not want to go backward this time.

Ideas?

I was losing too much, so I upped my beer and junk intake--after going raw fruit breakfast and lunch most days of the week. Smoothies for breakfast-no added fat, fruit for lunch (lots of it) and fruit any time for a snack. Reduced animal product intake but am no vegan/vegetarian.

Had fluctuated between 165 and 180 all my adult life. Have been 150-153 since May. EFFING love it!
(at 5'10.5" and 42years)

Increasing muscle mass = burning more calories at all times.

Start visiting the gym 3 days a week. You can easily turn 10 lbs of fat into 10 lbs of muscle and be slightly smaller than you were before you started working out.

The added benefit is that you'll probably like seeing yourself in the mirror naked and so will other people.
