Beautiful bike and it is my size!

Pretty typical though: finally talks Grandpa out of his vintage bike and turns around and flogs it on EBay.

60cm vitus?

noodle.

I have a 56 I bought in '84. But this one is STILL pretty!

I say he's an idiot. Why bother putting all those new components on that frame? Whoever buys that isn't going to ride the Vitus, he's going to strip the parts and toss the frame.

Just did exactly that with my Vitus. Sold all the Mavic bits, then sold the frame.

And yes, a 60cm Vitus IS a noodle. A comfortable, fun noodle, but a noodle nevertheless.

Still a nice bike. This is my size, and I had a momentary twinge when I saw it and a buy-it-now price. That blue always looks great on an anodized frame.

I LOVE anodized stuff but I had a gloss white 57cm Vitus. I wish I kept it because it was such a fine looking ride.

I agonized over that thing for days. It is one of those bikes that just takes you back. The guy definitely should have left the parts in the boxes and made a killing on them.
