AP – Spiderman, apparently suspicious of the Beijing National Olympic Stadium, has enclosed it in a “confinement web” as a precautionary move. Sources close to the stadium at the time say they saw the web slinger having lunch at a local café. Alex Munson, a reporter in town covering the Olympics for the Telegraph, was at the same café. “He was acting kinda strange you know, he was sitting there and kept mumbling something about “Spidey-Sense” and wouldn’t take his eyes off the stadium just across the street.” “Then he gets all agitated like and struts over there in that goofy suit of his…next thing you know he’s flying through the air, gooey web stuff all over the place. When he gets done, he walks back to the café, grabs his newspaper, asks for a to-go box, and walks out the door without saying a word.” Neither Spiderman nor his assistant could be reached for comment.
