Hi, I know the difference between caad 9 and system six. But I can buy a used caad 9 (400 miles) = 500$ frame and fork

or a system six (1200 miles) 850$... just frame and fork... and I would like to know if I can see a big difference between these frames... the difference is 350$$, it's not huge.. but with 350$ I could buy a better wheelset..... ?? what do you think

I have had both and rode them both extensively one season. Used the CAAD for a training bike and the System6 for a race bike. The set up even down to wheels was identical. IMO the CAAD9 was/is the better bike. It is not overbuilt, does everything well and is more comfortable than the System6. I think the CAAD8/9/10 when it comes out, is the best race frame out there, especially when you figure in cost.

I would say no to the latter.

I'm seriously considering a CAAD9 for myself to race next year. The price/performance is pretty much ideal for me. I haven't ridden any carbon Cannondales yet so can't help ya there.
