Does anyone have any experience with these frames? http://www.lynskeyperformance.com/a/pages/products/cyclocross/pro-cross.php

The stock geometry would work for me and $1500 for a butted Ti frame seems like a good deal.

I know the history of the family but haven't actually seen any Lynskey frames in person. Lynskey road frames seem to be all over ebay and the internet at discount prices. Why is that?

I saw one in person in a local shop and wasn't all that impressed by the quality of the welding or finish.

Can't draw much of a conclusion from a sample of one, though.

I think the pipelines are getting pretty full of these frames. Ti is not that popular nowadays, and it looke like production exceeds sales.

The one vague spec I noticed is that they raised the BB. I hate high BB's,particularly on a cross bike.

I don't know what you saw, but I own one, and the welds are amongst the best I've seen. Regarding finish, I opted for brush ti with a bead-blasted logo and it looks great. The Lynkey is one of the best bikes I've ever ridden.

My LBS is a dealer and sells quite a few, I have to agree and say that the 6 or so that I have inspected look first rate as far as construction and finish. At NAHBS they had a booth and the twisted chainstay model they displayed felt, to me, like they were trying too hard to be unique but the actual fabrication was crazy.
