I'm pretty sure I couldn't hold his wheel for even a mile. These guys (all of them, even the Rouge) are so far above most of us, it just boggles the mind.

...in honor of:

General classification after stage 20
1.....Carlos Sastre Candil (Spa) Team CSC - Saxo Bank.....84.01.00
145..Wim Vansevenant (Bel) Silence - Lotto....................87.55.51

Lanterne Rouge in Paris for the 3rd time in a row (2006/07/08).
That's already a record, but I say, "Only 4 more to go, Wim!!!".

Congrats to all Tour finishers, always.

:beer:Great TT by Wim today to take back his rightful spot.

Yep, Ill raise one... a great ride by Sastre in defense of the jersey, Funny, I've never thought of him as a TDF winner. That was Cadel's last best chance and I suspect he flogged himself just to get to this point; maybe he'll get an 'Ullrich" complex.
Still, fair play to Sastre; he made winning attack and made it stick.

The Maillot Jeune really did seem to give Sastre wings today. I'll raise a glass to him, but also a moment of reflection for Cadel, who gave it a good go, but just couldn't get it done in the end. I'm already looking forward to next year's race.
