I've got a new pair of Conti GP 4000s folded up and stored in my garage in the Texas heat. I'm riding out my current GPs before I put on the new. It probably gets to 110 + easy in my garage every day, and they have been in there for a couple of months. I think I am going to bring them inside rather than worry about it. Should I be concerned?? :)

I keep my spares in my bedroom closet... they don't take up much space so I figure why risk it?

But then I have tires that have been on bikes in the garage for several years, all seem ok. But then those are cheap tires.

We've discovered that tires in the garage turn brittle faster - possibly from the ozone from the appliances as well as the heat.

I keep my extra tires in the basement. Nice bikes stay inside the house (A/C), daily rider stays in the sun-room, which gets pretty toasty during the day.

Texas heat? Very similar to our kind of summer heat. I'd say store them inside. Next to the wine

I also use the closet storage approach.

Orlando gets a little hot! And this seems to work well.
