OT: Foo Fighters

Saw them last night for the second time this year and wow what a show they put on. Dave G is unbelievable live. Accoustic set is something special!

I saw them in Austin a couple of years back and was surprisingly disappointed in their performance-it was terrible!

Maybe it was an off night. Regardless, they're still one of my favorite bands and I look forward to seeing them in September when they headline the Austin City Limits Music Festival (www.aclfestival.com).

As a sidenote, Weezer opened for them at that Austin show and put on an incredible performance!

Checked 'em out at San Diego State a few months back. A very high-energy rock band indeed. Great azz-kickin' show. I admire Grohl very much, the way he didn't let Cobain's death send him into a tailspin, but instead going out and forming his own band and becoming almost instantly accepted and successful. Seems like they tour non-stop. Grohl, Taylor Hawkins and company are indefatigable! Jeff N.
