View Full Version : question about a Waterford 1100 frame
Does anyone happen to know what was the tubing used to build the Waterford 1100 series frame? What current geometry chart on the Waterford website would match it's geometry? Any information would be helpful. photo is from ad.

Waterford has a forum on their website. You would definitely get an answer to your question there, probably from Richard Schwinn.

My RS11 had a 531 sticker on it. What model is your frame: R, RS, RT?

I have an 1100. It's 531. Just converted to a commuter. Good bike.

thanks for the archive link. the photo is from an eBay ad http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&item=260263326057 the seller lists it as a 49cm but i suspect it's a 50cm. ad doesn't mention the model R, RS, RT.

actually if you give the good folks at Waterford a call, they will tell you that on occasion different tubes depending on availability were used on various bikes of the same model. IIRC there are some 1100's with some 753 mixed in.
I can't remember if this is the reason behind some Waterfords needing 27.4mm and 27.2mm seat posts.
Also.. I can't believe someone hasn't snatched up your 1150.
