Is there no medical support for a race like that? A team car, or maybe neutral service? Horner is truly awesome, but ***?

There's even more weird stuff in that photograph. The rear wheel cannot be seen up top, but its shadow shows on the road surface. The 'captain' appears to be required to pedal out of the saddle. The Bonty Aeoleus carbon wheels are 'suitable' for tandem use. :D

It's a neat pic. Ya don't see stuff like that happen very often. Thanks for sharing.

According to the article, finishing in this manner allows the crashed guy to get credit for completing the stage. He gets the same time as Horner.

I've done that before for a friend - it's a lot harder than it looks. At least it was for me!
