Ok, here is the deal. I have a 1” ouzo pro fork with the Reynolds compression plug/topcap and I want to mount a 1 1/8” stem. Can I use a 1 1/8” Reynolds top cap with a 1” plug?
Are there any other options, and last but not least, where in the heck can I get just a 1 1/8” Reynolds topcap? As usual any questions, comments, or constructive criticism is welcome.
Thanks!
Kevan

I still ask... can you?
I don't think so.

negative. You gotta use the 1" with the 1" fork. Adapt 1" to 1 1/8th" spacers to make it work for compression on the stem. You can run into problems under the stem if you use spacers there too. Try a few kinds (of spacers) to see what fits the tightest - with the closest tolerances. - Matt
