Ok, we've got the longest stage of the Tour happening today (as I write this). Any one want to go out on a limb and make a prediction?

I say the peloton won't let another break get away like it did the other day...the sprinters wnat their day. Columbia has been strong and in the thick of it so I'm placing Cavindish at the line (Yes, I said this the other day and got burned when the break stayed off the front). Zabel will be up there as well as Thor.

George Hincapie in a last 2k breakaway, just crossing the line before a mad charging peloton. :p

Phil Liggett scream out "Zabel, Zabel, Zabel, Zabel", causing a North American wild turkey to cross the road in the final 100 meters. Mark Cavendish has to touch his brakes to keep from hitting it and Zabel wins.

You the man William !

Well Zabel is still pretty dang impressive to still be able to hang in there for so many years.

I've heard that this genus is particularly belligerent....

Still can't count him out, even after 12-13 years in the peloton he's still right there.
