Is there a grip shifter that will work with Campy? I'm thinking, why do I need all these gears that I never use? Why not a single ring 8 or 9 speed choris without these silly thum buttons levers. If Campy doesn't make them will Shaiminos' work?TIA

Are you asking if there is a grip shifter (like SRAMs) for a flat bar?

Yes, I'm considering either a Nitto albatross or dove handlebars. Would any grip shifter work with campy? TIA

all the grip shifters I've encountered have Shimano spacing. You may be able to make a thumb shifter with Campy spacing using http://store.paulcomp.com/thumbiemtn.html

There is no gripshift but there is a thumb shifter style that campy has either just come out with, or is coming out with in 2005. It is centaur level and is designed to use with flat handle bars. I don't know how many speeds it is but I think that is what you are looking for.
