Hi Folks,
I have terrible internet connection so I've been MIA lately, but in that time, I've been able to plan a small tour for the end of August.

I live in Bangor, Maine. Before grad school starts, I'm riding to Acadia National Park, hopping on the ferry to Nova Scotia, and I'll get 14 days in Nova Scotia for a brief tour.

Does anyone have any experience riding here? Anything I should definitely see? Definitely Avoid?

It's my 3rd tour in 3 summers... I'm pretty psyched !

Cheers,
Dan

It has been a few years since I toured Nova Scotia. I remember it as a fantastic landscape for touring and many friendly people.

Cape Breton Island is a highlight I can clearly remember with great climbs and spectacular views. Take your time and enjoy the scenery and people!

Send me a message if you want some more information and I'll dig up my diary of the ride for more information.

Best of luck,

Ripple

The Cabot trail in Cape Breton is spectacular. Lots and lots of hills, great scenery. Good camping there.......Keltic Lodge there would be a nice place to stay too. The south shore is really nice (south shore here means south east btw ).
