I soaked my B-17 champ special - drenched, with soaking wet bibs for 1 hour+

What can I do to save my brooks? It is hanging out on the bike drying...

Help!

Just don't ride it again until it dries out. Or do and don't worry about it. I've been riding Brooks for years and I think they've regularly gotten as wet from my sweat as they ever have from getting caught in the odd rainstorm. And they still last forever, with only the very occasional quarter turn of the tensioning bolt. They're pretty tough critters.

True ^. Do nothing. Let it dry, don't lean it against anything while it dries out and don't heat it with a blow dryer etc. It's leather, it used to be alive, animal skin; the water will lubricate it and it'll be fine.

Pretty much what everybody has said, but I would add that if it is noticeably deformed from being ridden while soggy you should push it back into shape with your hands. I think it would also be good to stuff the bottom with newpaper or something to absorb moisture if it is still that wet. No heat, let it dry in the shade, then add a little Proofide to the top.
