I'm going to sell my Meivici, starting to race again and don't want to crash on a carbon bike.
here are virtual measurements :
t/t 56, s/t 57
actual measurements :
t/t 54, s/t 50, chainstay 41, h/t 16.4.
stiffness is 8.5 for frame/ fork.
I have two forks as the original one was damaged in shipping (big scratch on inner leg) but I used it anyway. The other fork is uncut, unmounted.
Chris King silver headset.
there's some clearcoat damage on rear triangle, I'm going to take the frame/ fork to Cyclefit to make sure it is still in perfect alignment.
The fork alone cost 850 bucks with the custom paintjob and this has Serotta's high end c5c colorado tubing...
It was designed by Mr Bedford personally before he went solo.
3800 bucks or equivalent sterling gets you :
2 forks, one brand new and uncut
c. king headset
meivici frame...
you can see photos of frame built up in gallery, flameblue meivici.
I've owned bike 1.5 years, only ridden 6 months as I had a system six that I rode over the winter and in inclement weather.

great bike, not my size - though it seems like a deal.
what - no crash protection?
I believe Kelly still works for Serotta and builds lugged steel as a solo enterprise.

so it wasn't a crash protection issue and Virgin Air declined to pay for damage, they say bike parts not covered.
