Mavic MR-601 Road Hubs/Campy Compatible?

Does anyone know if the current Mavic ED10 campy freehub will fit on the last generation Mavice MR-601 road hub? I want to swap it from Shimano to Campy cassettes. Not interested in the Mavic casette solution. I bought these hubs from Excel on closeout about 9 years ago and they rival any record/dura ace hub for mechanics and looks.

I tried to find a mavic service email address, but they seemed to have locked up service queries to industry-only service providers.

Mavic redesigned their hubs to the current FTS-L design, less than 9 years ago - I'm thinking 2001 and newer have the new design. Not sure they were even selling hubs only at the time of the new design.

I think the hubs show the FTS feature, not FTS-L. I guess I could try a shimano 9speed cassette or go to a campy-spaced shimano 9speed cassette.
