Do you have any pics? Sounds interesting. And old. Huret is a long time ago for me.

If you like cool bikes- this one's pretty nice too. It's a Raleigh Richmond from the 80's. The ultimate city bike made out of Reynolds 531. I wish it fit me.

Are you selling the Raleigh also? It's a beauty.

Yep, it's for sale. I'll have to measure it, but I thinks it's like a 55-56cm.
How much are you asking for the Raleigh?

I've got a little over $350 in it. I just put a NOS Brooks B66 saddle on it last week that I've been saving for something special like this bike.

Hey thanks for the info. I am interested in knowing the size. The headtube looks small for a 56 but I don't know anything about the geometry of city bikes so I'm ignorant.

I've been to Franklin and bought a Franklinstein mountain bike frame in the early 90s. I've seen a fair number of Franklin frames (a couple of friends have one and I worked in a shop that sold a few).
Finally, I think Franklin built some (all?) of the frames sold by the now-defunct (or just resting?) Cycles Gaansari.
All that to say that Jack Trumbull burns some nice tubes.
Franklin's site is here: http://home.alltel.net/franklinframe/

The seat tube is a 54cm and the top tube is 56cm. Measurements are c-c.

She's a beauty. It actually fits me and my better half. I wish we had the room for it. :( The price sure is right.
