hello,

i'm looking for a cyclocross bike that'll fit someone who is about 5'5" and has an inseam of 28.5" without shoes. my price range is $2k tops...but i'd like to spend less than that. i missed out on a couple amazing ebay auctions for mint condition Blue CX6.5's for well under $1k...one with 105's and another with ultegra (!!!).

anyway...yeah...i really want a cx bike...

I have a 52cm HSG Steel CX bike for sale. It was ridden for half a season by a rider we sponsored at the shop, and has been hanging up since November. It is red with silver painted serotta decals. The kit is ultegra, TRP euro X brakes, inexpensive Mavic Ksyriums (Equipes?). Right now it has only a 42T single front ring w/ Salsa bash guard. The exact geo is on Serotta's website. I don't have a price yet, but it would be a deal....

These are the only pics I have for now. The Mavic wheels on there now are brand new.

Its a 56cm BMC Cross Machine. Easton EC90CX fork, kysrium wheels, Thomson seatpost, Sala bars, Cane Creek brakes. It has Ultegra 9spd shifters, XT rear der and FSA cranks but i would throw in Forces shifters , rear der and cranks.

I am 6.2 tall. Will include detail later in my own post.

I have a 54 cm Gunnar Crosshairs that will be for sale. It's currently in commuter mode, with a 9 speed XT rear derailleur, 11-34 SRAM cassette, an FSA 48-36 crank, V brakes, 105 hubs laced to CXP33 rims... It currently has 9 speed Campy shifters mated to the rear with a Shiftmate, but I probably want to keep the shifters so I have to track down some Shimano STIs.

Send me a PM if you're interested.
