To adlib George Carlin, is this similar to eating antipasta and pasta and still being hungry afterwards? I hope that they didn't pay their marketing firm for the slogan.

More Pittsburgh humor:

Not even Oscar the Grouch can avoid the subrime mess!

In a similar Pittsburgh vein:

Not even Oscar the Grouch can avoid the subrime mess!

Are the flowers real or plastic?

I wish I could find a picture of the old Mayflower Furniture store in Newton, MA.

The always had a sign out front that said "25 (or whatever the current number was) years without a sale".

It became even more ironic when after about 30 years in business they had a Going Out Of Business Sale.

Shortly after I moved to the Portland area, around thirty years ago, there were some signs and bus benches emblazoned with the name "Schmuck Brothers Construction." Wish I had taken a picture.

My daughter and I saw a great sign the other day in a small Oregon town.

at a Burger king

"Congratulations 2008 graduates"
"Applications now being accepted"
"Inquire within"

I was looking for a lunch spot on the way to Yakima yesterday, but I lost my appetite when I saw this sign.

No sale at all!!
If they can't sell anything for 25 years, off course they should go out of business. ;)

Not a photo, but this bit of bike humor appeared in our newspaper yesterday.

The company slogan for the Taos Septic Pumping Service (emblazoned on the back of their trucks) was "Your $hit is our Bread and Butter"
