I just tried to remove the bottom bracket from my wife's bike, and my BBT 2 won't reach the cup because of the spindle. I see that Park now sells the BBT 22, which replaces the BBT 2. Is the difference that the BBT 22 is deeper? I want to make sure to order the right tool...

Thanks.

What type of BB are you trying to remove?

I saw the below on an internet shop site:

"Item #PA-BBT22: .For splined bottom bracket units by Shimano & ISIS and others including large spindle types, 3/8" dr/32mm flats. Redesigned from the BBT-2, better fit, more room for long ISIS spindles!"

I had some trouble using the BBT2 with an FSA ISIS triple bb (I think the guys at the shop used a Truvativ tool or something equally as exotic to finally take care of it). The BBT22 must solve the problem.

Regards.

I'm trying to tighten an ISIS bb. Thanks for the info--the new 22 must be the tool I need!
