Anone had any success repairing the post 2000 ergo bodies? The inside secion of mine broke, the piece that is about 3/16 in in cross section, about 3/8 of an inch North of the brake lever pivot hole. It appears to be made of some sort of plastic material and if anyone knows what type of plastic it is it would be a big help in selecting the right epoxy adhesive to fix it. Alternatively if anyone has successfully repaired one please tell me what adhesive you used. Thanks.

For me, this is one of those questions where you have to ask: How much is my life worth? I crashed and scraped my Record ergos at the section of the brake pivot pin to where it was about 2/3 or its designed thickness. While my mechanic said it should be strong enough, I had them rebuilt with a new body. When I'm screaming down hill, I really don't want to be thinking about my repaired or weakened ergo body. That's why we love Campy, its a readily available replacement part.
