Perhaps it'll grow on me with time... :crap:

Too bad there's no photos of Chorus, Record or Super Record. I would expect nearly the same, but there have been hints that the impending expiration of Campy's patent on the current shifter design may bring other surprises to the higher level models. I hope that the new design incorporates a brake lever reach adjustment. Campy's last change to the low level shifters, the escape mechanism, made the shifters cheap, but compromised function.

The pictures show a lot more distance from the hook section of the bars to the brake lever than I have with my modified Record ergo levers.

Makes me happy that I have two pairs of the '00-'06 models. Might even get a third set to put on the shelf.

Going to reserve judgment until I wrap my hands around the shifters and put them through the paces, but for now I am disappointed. They look like dung.

Ugly, but I'm willing to bet they are nice on the hands. I'm loving my 2000 circa Record more and more these days. That's aesthetically the best mix of carbon and alloy for me.

On another note, I'm seriously considering upgrading the levers on my Ultegra 10 cross bike to the new Dura Ace. I like hidden cables and they look no worse.

They look kinda comfy. On the other hand, they look kinda like this:

We'll see, maybe the new levers aren't very photogenic?

Hey, take a look at the front wheel in the picture, looks like Campy has a paired spoke design for one of their new wheel sets.

I don't think I've ever seen any new group introduced to positive comments here. They look strange to me. In a year they probably won't. Same with DA and Red.

Sort of retro, except for the fancy graphix. I love pictures.

Apparently there is some bad camera work on display. Note the comments from Pez Tech.

Leap to what? The most garish groupset since Suntour Ole? Remember Sram is ditching those nice polished alloy parts for black (painted?) next year, and the Rival levers will have a carbon fibre blade. The highest end all alloy groups will be Veloce and Ultegra... which is not bad news, since they are pretty good.

Leap to buying up the current 10 speed. I like the look of Force, and 09 gets adjustable levers. I am a Campy guy but I dont like the new levers. And yeah, Red is ugly, especially the graphics on the crank. To each their own....

I think the ugliest thing is the top of lever to body transition. The lever's too tall, and the body piece is too skinny before it transitions to the hood. Why not make the lever shorter and put more plastic between the lever and hood (similar to current Ergo)? Also, why not keep the downward curved top of lever profile from the current version? Then I'd be OK with the curvy hoods.
