Most of upstate NY had severe thunderstorms yesterday.

We had hail and high winds here as did many other folks.

There were tornado watches posted but I dodn't think any tornadoes actually happened.

Lotsa generators running in Charlton this morning and I was obliged to ride through the barriers and around the downed wires where a tree tore the service off a house. Lots of small to medium sized branches down on the roads. I would guess there were places where somebody really got it.

Last night I was sitting on the porch watching the storm clouds go over, one minute they were going 40 miles an hour from the SSW, not two minutes later they were going 40 miles an hour from the NW.
