View Full Version : Are there any quiet, smaller helmets out there?

I have a Bell Ghisallo which fits my noggin well but is louder than anything at any speed whatsoever. It's also enormous on the outside.

No helmet is not an option, High Command would break my legs and that would be counterproductive.

Any decent helmets that don't threaten to rip your head off with areodynamic drag or puncture your eardrums with wind noise?

Good question.
I also have a "BEll" shaped head and the one that fits me properly just looks enormous in the mirror.
I also can't hear much of anything if there's any headwind.

I tried a Giro ski helmet this winter but the interior shape is different. The Giro just seems narrower at the top and doesn't fit me right. If the Bell fits your head shape properly then the Giro probably won't.
