This one ought to get some winners. Pictures taken on my regular Hamilton loop last week (today I did the same loop [53 miles] in record time on my Crumpton SL with 303s - always like my favorite bike to be the fastest, even if it tuckers me out to make it so, especially on a hot and humid day).

First picture on a favorite cyclist's road, but you have to be the stop-and-look type to see it - if you're looking at the road you'll just whiz by.

Second picture is easy to spot as you whiz by (actually that's on an uphill spot, so it's a little easier to see). Obviously a very expensive house, but I like the semi-replica bird house propped up fairly near to the street for everyone to see - analyze that psychology how you wish but for me it's just a celebration of a good life)

Wow.

It didn't look that nice at 7:00 AM !! Misty, foggy, raw.

By the time we were heading back from Smolak it looked kinda like that.

You must be a late riser. ;) :D

A couple guesses:

#1 - not sure, but the field reminds me of one off of Gardner Street

#2 - I'm guessing that's on Miles River Road, sort of across from Myopia.

Absolutely correct on #2. #1 - still awaiting a winner.

Bruce K - yes, I tend to start rides around 10 or 11.

Hint on #1 - within yards of the Ipswich town line - in fact, the map suggests that one crosses that line somewhere down that row of trees.

Also, within a few hundred yards of one of the many bridges that the flood took down 2 years ago that have not yet been fixed, messing up many a good loop for cyclists.

I've had this sitting in the digicam for the past several weeks. Thanks for making me keep an eye out. Gotta hit the road and take the camera with me again today, as the North Shore scene quest continues.

Well done. I'm saving some shots for winter, when the memory starts playing tricks :)
