about CF bikes. I have way too many bikes (more than 10), all steel or Ti. I am 220 pounds hopefully heading to 190, I like lugs, round tubes and horizontal TT, bike weight has never been a consideraton for me, other than losing mine.

But I gotta say, there were some top notch riders on the Essex County Velo ride today, with some top notch bikes. Maybe it was the brilliant New England sunshine today, but some of those bikes were just STUNNING to look at. From Parlee to Specialized, there was some pretty and fast looking fiber on the road today.

uh oh...does somebody have carbon fiber fever? from personal experience i raced the '06 and '07 on carbon. last year was on a Fuji SL1 that tips the scale at 14.8 w/ Zipps. but this year it worked out that i am back on TI, a custom Roark Ti and could not be happier. there is just something about Ti that makes me covet it over carbon.
