Last summer, we lamented the lack of oral history about earlier cycling. The latest issue of Vintage Bicycle Quarterly is a real gem: great stories, great pictures, and great bikes. Even for those of us who don't use equipment before STIs, the magazine is a wonder. It's very much worth it, and I've learned a lot more from it than from magazines that just test the latest carbon this and that.
