Riding in Baja?

Hi all, Happy New Year

Has anyone hit Baja by road bike? I'll be spending 4 days somewhere in northern Baja, maybe near Ensanada...still don't really know. The question is, should I bring my road bike?
It's cold here in western mass...the idea of riding in warm weather...of course I could spend 4 idle days on the beach.
Anyone have any experience?

Ensenanda is better than Southern Baja for riding but not much. Roads are narrow and drivers are not used to seeing cyclists. There is an old road that parrallels the main road (toll) that you could ride but.........If you must ride, drive North to the US and ride and then go back to Ensenada and lay on the beach. Although the weather here (in San Diego) has not been beach weather for at least two months. 40's in the am warming to hi 50's low 60's at the beach. Good luck!
