I used to ride alot when I was younger. One of my favorite bikes I looked at was a Colorado II. I always wanted one. I've been away from riding for some time but want to get back into it for excercise. I'm thinking I want to get one now, finally, if I can find one. I'm kind of a traditionalist and like the older steel lugged frames. Could anyone fill me in on the history of this bike or know where to find one or look for one?

What size?
I have a 65cm I'd like to sell.

Colorado2 was steel and serotta concept tubing. They, as well as CR/CRL or Colorado III, ride well. The CR is a little heavier. (All came originally with steel forks and 1 inch threaded headtube.) Atlanta would be another one that you might look at.

Figure what size you need and you might find one of FORUM For Sale section,

In the early 90s, the Colorado II was listed in Serotta's catalogs as the flagship of their line. It utilized Colorado Concept Columbus Nivacrom tubing and was listed in 3 different cataloged geometries in addition to custom sizing
