Will there be any concerns using an ENO hub with a Hors Categorie? I have an ENO wheel and just thought I might try it on this special bike - I don't think there should be any issue but thought I would ask. (I have tried it on a flat area, with leg braking and have not had any problems - but before taking it to any hills I thought I would seek expert advice first)

I wouldn't think so as there is very little movement fore/aft, it's mostly up/down.

I have an ENO wheel on my Hors CX. No problems, but I have it set up as single speed, not fixed..

I have used an ENO hub on a couple of bikes. I have not used it on my Hors....But, I cannot see why there should be any issues.

The ENO works great, especially if you use thinner diameter tires and NO rear brake. I used 700 X 25's and a rear brake when I ran fixed on my CSI, it worked, but the chain had to be a perfect length (can you say 1/2 links).

Good luck!

Heh - I gave it a whirl and so far have been unable to throw the chain - think it is a go for the road. I am SOOOooo glad I have 2 of these frames - magic. Pure magic. It is nice to be able to set them up with almost identical reach.

Now if I could only get more time to ride... :crap:
