I'm getting my single speed/fixie rig set up and all that is left now is getting the cantilever brakes set up. I can use either a link wire or a straddle cable. The link wire seems like a cleaner setup, but I don't know what size to get - there are five sizes. Will any size work?

FYI this is set up with 700cx37 tires and fenders, if that makes a difference.

Thanks in advance for assistance.

can't say without seeing the whole set-up as the shape and length of the brake arms and the height of the cable stops vary so much. That's why there are several lengths. The height of the straddle cable affects brake power and feel. Sometimes one has to compromise on the ideal length and set-up for best braking to prevent the brakes from interfering with luggage too.
