I'f had fixed gear and SS speed bikes before, but I've always used standard road bars. This time around I want to set one up with bullhorn/cowhorn bars. Any suggestions on what folks have used before? I see Nitto makes a nice one. The ones pictured below look interesting but I don't think I'll go natural this time around. ;)

Profile makes an aluminum bar that's pretty basic.
You might want to look at Soma Fabrication's web site. They make a variety of "retro" style bars that look pretty cool.

I have owned Nitto RB-018, Profile AirWing, and Syntace. My favorite was the Syntace Stratos 200 (http://www.syntace.com/index.cfm?pid=3&pk=360). Of course, handlebars are much like saddles, in that everyone has their own personal preferences ...

Hey William,
If you can take some drop, I have some Modolo Kronos you can have that only have one ride on them. Great bars, but they just put me too low up front.
Here's a pic.

Is there an advantage to them other than looks? I'm presuming you're not going to be doing a lot of time trialing.

Thanks!
I'd love to give them a shot and see how they feel.
Fixed-Pal: The smooth curve to a nice set of track bars is very appealing to me. I just want to give the horns a shot and see how I like them.
Paczki-pal: No TT'in. Just like the look and want to give them a shot.
BK-Pal: Thanks for the Soma lead. Nice steel bullhorns as well as smooth track and Marshal-Taylor bars.
Old School stick swining-pal: Thanks for the link.

William,
You going to use a front brake? I have a bar plug lever, bought two but I only use one, I'll stick it in if you'll use it.
