sub-title: If BruceK gets this one we'll have to declare the valedictory prize early. Think of him as this thread's David Archuleta, and I'm the Idol producer who's decided to go with hip-hop week.

This shot was my real inspiration for getting the camera. I rode this route several times before I even noticed this sight, and it created a classic double-take - good thing I did not fall off. I love the whimsy and the attention to detail of this installation, as well as the fact that it's facing away from the street and therefore not for "us" as much as for them. BTW, in the wider shot, the item a few feet in front of the object is a spotlight - another example of attention to detail.

So, name the road on which this sight can be found:

I can't say that I've seen the sculpture but the buildings look like a couple on Georgetown Rd. in Boxford, MA.

Bruce - this is New England - all the buildings look like that.

Hint #1: Well north of Boxford (but within riding distance of course).

i love this game.
i'd play, but unfortunately, no one lives in bangor, maine.

even if they did, there are only 3 good road riding loops.

We have a winner.

A beautiful road and a great part of several loops.

This might not be the right address but it's about there on the south side of the road.

You know 1C, you won't be able to stay solo and in hiding much longer if you keep this up. ;)

The demand for your tour guide services is going to grow exponentially if you keep posting these cool pictures.

Maybe you need to consult with hardlyrob and 39cross for some additional roads for the Tour du Bivalve.

BKMos' def. We're planning on riding up people's driveways and cutting across yards this year. Suggestions always gladly accepted.

I'd be surprised if there was a road south of the river and east of Andover that you don't know well Bruce. North of the river...lots of good roads to explore.

My challenge in taking pictures in the home counties will be to make them recognizable but not utterly obvious.

i confirmed it, i do know the people who live in that house. it's my gf's sister in laws parents house. i was about 95% sure but waited till she got home to get that extra 5% of confirmation.
