Haven't got a clue what they are or how you earn them but they have been present since the re-re-inception of the forum. Maybe AlyBaby could let us in on it.

Oh, by the way e-R. I was cleaning my bathroom and came across the copy of Cigar Aficiando with your profile in it, couldn't throw it out. How much did it cost you anyway :)

The Scales of Justice came when FOX News took over the forum.

If you click on it, you supposedly get a "fair and balanced" opinion from someone else (I think it's Bill O'Reilly).

I just ferreted about to find my "reputation points." Apparently the last post for which these points were "awarded" suggested my input to be "somewhat negative." I am hardily relieved. After all, someone was annoyed enough to award me points! That counts for something!

I always tell students at the University that my first aim is to educate them. But in lieu of an education then at least to amuse them and, of course, if that doesn't work then to annoy them. It would be darn difficult to run me outta' the professor thing: tenure is meant to protect the excellent from the mediocre, so we say what we think without fear of reprisal or particularly the need to please those in power. Lord knows if politicians and vulnerable humans who must answer to their bosses actually told the truth, well, it would be an entirely different world, eh?

How many points you got? Would that be a good thing? Yikes.

how does one know if the points are good or bad?
